Description of Work:
Vertical composition with red decorated Asian lidded jar with foo dog finial and hand-painted scene on the front, Asian poly-chrome figure playing guitar, small ceramic foo dog with one leg raised, a small blue and white vase, a decorated fabric bunched, a small gold Asian bowl, brown footed Asian bowl and background out of an Asian textile. In the left foreground is a blue and white small Asian vase with decorative fabric bunched. In the right mid-ground of the painting from left to center, is a brown low footed Asian bowl, tall poly-chrome porcelain Asian figure playing a guitar with green pants, red shoes, blue robe and a guitar, gold Asian bowl, red Asian lidded jar with foo dog finial with hand-painted scene at right-center, small grey-green foo dog with one front leg. In the background is an Asian texture in grey-sand with a decorative pattern of birds and tree at the right background. [ECA]

– Condition Report: Unlined canvas; faint craquelure and minor stretcher bar marks; frame wear with evidence of rubbing in lower right corner; under UV light, there appears to be a small spot of in-painting to the left of the urn.
