Description of Work:
Horizontal composition of a shallow bucket of white roses, a mandolin, a stemware glass, a clear vase, and a glass pitcher. In the right foreground are three white rose flower heads and flower pedals strewn on the ground. The middle ground of the painting contains a tall tinted transparent glass pitcher to at the middle right, a round-back mandolin face down with its neck left of center middle-ground with a ribbon tied to the end. To the left middle-ground is a clear vase with dust or frosting at top next to a red-pink tinted transparent tall cut-glass stemware glass. In the center-background of the painting is a copper/brass shallow and wide bucket of approximately 15 white roses. The overall color scheme of the painting is a yellow-white and an ocher yellow or light sienna. The background and floor are nondescript and sand-like. The horizon line is at almost exactly half the height of the canvas. [ECA]
