“International fine arts exposition
At Buenos Aires and at Santiago, 1910.
…The Exposition Internacional de Arte del Centenario, in Buenos Aires, Argentine Republic, was opened to the public on July 12, 1910. The United States Section, which was opened with a reception and private view on July 11, occupied two of the large galleries in the centre of the building. There were 120 paintings, representing 117 different painters and forty-one bronzes by twenty-one sculptors.
…The United States Section of this Exposition closed September 1 in order that all the works in it might be included in the Internatioal Fine Arts Exposition which opened at Santiago, Chile, September 17, 1910.
