Description:
…”Meeting of the Two Seas shows a mildly dramatic view of nature, and is descriptive rather than romantic.  The sky is filled with mist but is otherwise presented as neutral.  Individual waves are subordinated to an image of the whole and we are presented with an impressive, carefully observed view of water.” [from collection paperwork from Terra Foundation for the Arts, Terra Museum of American Art, Chicago, IL]
