“Foreign art jurors start for America
Word was received yesterday by John W. Beatty, director of fine arts of Carnegie Institute, that Julius Olsson and Andre Dauchez, foreign members of the international jury of the annual international exhibition, have sailed from Europe. They will arrive in New York Saturday.
M. Dauchez represents France and Mr. Olsson, England. Other members of the jury are Emil Carlsen, Bruce Crane, Charles H. Davis, Charles Hawthorne, W. L. Lathrop, E. W. Redfield, Gardner Symons and Edmund C. Tarbell, all of whom are American painters.”
