“Reynold Gravina, 96, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2016. Graveside services will be at 11:30AM, Monday, March 21, 2016 at Hope Cemetery Henrietta, Texas with Dr. Keva Green officiating. Burial will be in the Hope Cemetery in Henrietta, Texas under the direction of Davis Funeral Home in Henrietta. Mr. Gravina was born April 6, 1919 in Seneca Falls, New York. He was the youngest pilot, at age 18, to obtain his transport license. He continued to contribute to the aviation field as a commercial pilot with Baniff Airlines for 40 years. After retirement he became a flight instructor until the age of 89. He was a recipient of the Wright Brothers Award. He was an avid contributor and member of the Town North Family YMCA. Mr. Gravina was preceded in death by his parents; his wife June Anne Gravina. Survivors include daughter, Annette Bantle and husband Frank, daughter, Lisa Grunditz and husband Joe; grandchildren, Frank Bantle Jr., Julia Axelrad, Tegan Grunditz, Ainsley Grunditz, and Corbin Grunditz; great grandsons, Ethan and Ari Axelrad, and Jake Bantle; and many close friends and neighbors whom he loved. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Town North Family YMCA, 4332 Northaven Rd Dallas, TX 75229, or the charity of your choice.”
