…”Emil Carlsen of New York has been elected to the Directorship of the School of Art Designs, to fill the vacancy caused by the death of Virgil Williams. He was recommended by a large number of noted New York artists. The opening of the school has been postponed from May 2nd to May 16th, to give Mr. Carlsen time to arrange his affairs in New York prior to coming here.”…
