DINNER was given by the Club on October 1st to Mr. George Alfred Townsend, the well-known newspaper correspondent, who wrote over the pseudonym of “Gath.” THis was followed on October 8th by a Jinks sired by George W. Nagle, the subject of which was :Vanity Fair.” Dr. H. J. Stewart was Musical Director, and Emil Carlsen painted the cartoon.”…
