Local artists exhibits in Fuargil gallery

Henry S. Eddy of Plainfield is showing several paintings in an exhibition of small pictures now being held at the Ferargil Gallery, 24 East 49th street New York, until Jan. 1, 1918.

There are in all over 100 paintings of exceptional merit, the list of artists including such men as Alexander Bower, Emil Carlsen, Henry B. Snell, Charles Warren Eaton, Leon Kroll, Irving Couse, Albert Groll, F. J. Malhouptan, A. T. Van Laer.

Two of Mr. Eddy’s paintings depict winter in Plainfield, one showing the Watchung Mountains painted in a vigorous manner, the other a snow scene in Netherwood.”
