…”It is estimated that sixty artists or more were affected by the conflagration. Emil Carlsen, who is Chairman of the committee of Arrangements orignated the idea of giving a helping hand by means of an exhibition and sale for his brother artists.
He has been ably assisted in this work by Miss Francesca del Mar, J. Gustzon Borglum, Albert L. Groll, and other well-known artists.
