Description of Work:
Vertical composition of a Roman single handle white glass ewer on a stand and three Asian snuff bottles in yellow purple-black and black with stoppers. In the painting foreground at the left is a yellow glass snuff bottle on a black stand with stopper. In the middle-ground at far right is a purple-black on black stand glass snuff bottle with stopper with a black glass snuff bottle with a clear glass globe stopper partially hidden behind it. In the painting background just right of center canvas is a large single handled white glass ewer on a black Asian stand. The horizon is about one-quarter from the bottom of the painting. The ground and background are a brushy non-descript yellow-ocher. [ECA]
