Description of Work:
Vertical composition of a copper pot, copper pitcher, six pink-red roses, two peonies flowers in pink-red, green grapes and two pomegranates, one cut in half. In the painting foreground there is only what appears to be a brown wood table top. In the mid-ground of the painting at center-left is a medium size copper bowl with wide lip with two pomegranates inside, one split revealing inside, and green grapes mounded on top. At mid-ground at right is the other half of the split pomegranate. Immediately behind the far right pomegranate is a copper pitcher with attached lid thrown back open and a single metal handle toward the viewer. Inside the pitcher are two peonies in pink-red and six roses (1/2 dozen) in various stages of blooming in pink-red evenly gathered and centered on the canvas. The background is a non-descript dark warm brown. There is a grey/white line at the left of canvas in the background that is indistinguishable. [ECA]
